To retain the customers, Woolworths has launched the new Woolworths Rewards in 2015. According to the company research, 68% of their customer preferred the money off their normal supermarket shopping scheme, over the points-based scheme. Using this scheme, the customers could earn Woolworths Dollars in the course of their regular shop, and once their balance reaches $10, we take that amount off their next shop, quickly and automatically. Secondly, Woolworths also provided another program where shoppers earned dollars for buying ‘orange ticket’ items across a host of product classes.


Catching up with the online shopping trend, the company also has an online website where customer can get the items with free delivery to their home when their purchases reach 100$ marks.
Lastly, Woolies also has the free toy for kids.

Enticing the customer to buy more and use more

Beside on discount with yellow tags and "everyday low price"  red tags, the company also provided an online section on their website.

1/2 Price is one of the most attractive discount that Woolies has offered. These offers can be found at the end of any aisle as well.

Beside on focus on B2B model, Woolworths reinvented its B2C model to meet the B2B market where the corporate customer could have more discount and free delivery. Woolworths began to push new online offerings, promoting Woolworths Online as the place businesses can purchase all grocery needs in a one-stop-shop, delivered to them to save time and money. The new digital platform also provided tailored business support, discounts, and interest-free credit accounts.
